Sankofa Job: New Digital Employment Platform Set to Launch in Ghana on October 30
G&T Prestige Ltd. is preparing to introduce Sankofa Job, a new digital employment platform intended to help Ghanaians find job opportunities and connect with employers across the country.
The platform is scheduled for its official launch on Friday, October 30, 2026. According to the company, job seekers will be able to use the service free of charge to create profiles, explore vacancies, submit applications and connect with prospective employers.
The initiative comes with a focus on improving access to employment information and encouraging stronger connections between people looking for work and organisations seeking qualified staff.
Free Access for Job Seekers
Through Sankofa Job, G&T Prestige Ltd. intends to provide a digital space where job seekers can present their qualifications and discover available employment opportunities.
The company is encouraging employers and businesses to publish genuine vacancies, provide fair compensation and use the platform to identify suitable Ghanaian candidates.
Graduates, National Service personnel and other people entering or re-entering the job market are among the groups the initiative hopes to reach.
Beyond job listings, the company is inviting government institutions, public agencies, private businesses and other partners to support employment creation through professional training, mentorship, sponsored opportunities and career development programmes.
Founder Wants to Bring Opportunities Home
Anthony Akwasi Gyamfi, PharmD, founder and chief executive officer of G&T Prestige Ltd., said the project reflects his desire to bring knowledge and opportunities back to Ghana after gaining experience abroad.
Explaining the philosophy behind the initiative, he said:
“Sankofa means ‘go back and get it’. I went far, I learnt, and now I have come back to bring it home. If a young man with one book bag and no dollar could cross the bridge, so can you. And this time, you will not cross alone.”
The name Sankofa reflects the idea of returning to retrieve valuable knowledge and using it to create a better future. The company is applying that principle to employment access and professional development.
Diaspora and Employers Invited to Participate
G&T Prestige Ltd. is calling on Ghanaians living abroad to contribute by mentoring young professionals, hiring Ghanaian talent, investing in opportunities and sharing information about the platform with people back home.
The media and general public are also being encouraged to help spread awareness ahead of the launch.
Registered in Ghana in October 2025, G&T Prestige Ltd. is headquartered in Abuakwa, Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region. Its founder, Dr Gyamfi, is a pharmacist and pharmacy manager based in Manhattan, New York.
Sankofa Job is one of the company’s flagship initiatives. Other planned projects include the Adwuma Pa Podcast and Ankoaa, which is planned for 2027.
