Ace Christians and music lovers are being warned by Ghanaian gospel musician Edward Akwasi Boateng to stop listening to songs by fellow gospel artist Broda Sammy if they genuinely hope to reach heaven.

You do not have to listen to Broda Sammy’s music if you want to enter heaven.
Context
Following a recent misunderstanding between the two gospel musicians that generated social media reactions, the statement was released.
A video of the event went viral online about a week ago, making Broda Sammy the focus of conversation during the one-week observation of the late Daddy Lumba’s passing.
According to Akwasi Boateng,
Broda Sammy is making us look foolish, and I want to let him know it. According to the Bible, a person undergoes a transformation upon repenting. You should not act like a worldly person if you have given your life to Christ. Additionally, according to the Bible, money is the source of all evil. You will see what happens to you in this country if you do not stop.
In a scathing retort, Broda Sammy charged that Akwasi Boateng was being hypocritical and misinterpreting his message.
In response, Broda Sammy said,
The truth is hated by you people. Prophet Bernard El-Bernard gave you a car as a gift from God after He gave you another chance. Although I acknowledge that money is the source of evil, I also encourage others to believe that money can solve every problem. The life you led back then has no bearing on your life now. Do not attack me the next time; pay attention to how you speak. Who are you? The truth bothers you.
The dispute between the two well-known gospel musicians has since sparked a contentious discussion among fans of the genre and on social media, with differing views on whether Broda Sammy’s contemporary aesthetic is consistent with traditional Christian principles.
