Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, has shared a vision he says he had about former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

Speaking during the 31st Night Service in 2025, Obinim described how he noticed the previous president waving at him in the middle of a sizable crowd.
He claimed that before the 31st night service, he had only told one member of his church about the vision.
In a vision, I saw former President Kufuor waving at me. I only told one person about this. He was waving at us in that image, which showed a sizable crowd. The entire area went dark all of a sudden,” he remarked.
Obinim clarified that he would have discussed the vision the week before if he had recognised the prophetic gift sooner.
I would have talked about my prophetic gift last week if I had known about it earlier,” he continued.
He added that he had fasted for two days on the former president’s behalf because he is from his wife’s village and expressed confidence that Kufuor would be safe.
I have fasted for him for two days because he is from my wife’s hometown. Obinim stated at the service, “I think he will be safe because it will affect me when he dies.”
The discovery, which was made during the church’s evening assembly on December 31, has sparked some intense discussions on social media site X.
While some users have demanded that the man of God be arrested, others contend that it would be wiser to hold discussions with him rather than stir up controversy.
