After being caught on camera in a compromising situation with a female student, Professor Abraham Chinedu, a senior lecturer at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has found himself in hot water.
Reports state that students have long accused the statistics lecturer of requesting sekzual favours from female students in return for higher grades, a charge he consistently denies.
A sting operation was organised by a group of students in an attempt to expose the lecturer’s unethical behaviour.
Prof. Chinedu was caught on camera trying to entice a female student into bed by allegedly promising to help her do better academically in exchange.
The lecturer is seen inappropriately touching the young woman while attempting to persuade her in the widely shared video.
As he continued to do the do with her in his office, the obviously uneasy student can be heard turning down his advances.
Although university officials have not yet released an official statement, insiders claim that the disciplinary committee has been tasked with conducting an internal investigation into the matter.
