Tabi’s first reaction during that terrifying moment of abrupt descent was automatic surrender and mutterings of “Jesus” and “Thank You Lord.” “I was thanking God, but not because of what was happening,” he remembers.
Because 1 Thessalonians 5:18 HCSB states, “Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus,” I knew that God was still in charge. After a terrifying experience that left Tabi deeply grateful, the pilot miraculously regained control and prevented disaster.
