In less than a day, the year 2025 will come to an end, and as is customary, Christians from all over Ghana will congregate at different places of worship for the 31st Night Crossover Services.

Pastors give prophecies into the lives of their congregants and some well-known Ghanaians during these ceremonies, which begin on the evening of December 31 and conclude on January 1. They also predict several significant events that are expected to occur in the nation, the most of which are catastrophes.
Before the nation’s prophets release their predictions for the upcoming year, 2026, let’s examine some of the predictions made by some well-known prophets for the year 2025. These predictions may not have come to pass since the men of God prayed to prevent them.
Rev. Owusu Bempeh,
Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, made a number of predictions about what will happen in 2025 that did not come to pass, such as the following:
Blindness in the Mass
“Many people will suffer from eye ailments this year if we don’t pray. Many will go blind. I see several spectacles crying. He prayed, “We curse that spirit of blindness.”
Coronavirus-like illness
The man of God warned that if prayers are not offered to stop it, a terrible disease that resembles the coronavirus may spread this year. He claimed to have witnessed a large number of people suffering from this illness all across the world.
“If we don’t pray, we will encounter another fatal illness that is comparable to the coronavirus we encountered a few years ago. I see a spirit hovering in midair, spewing the illness from its mouth, dispersing it, and killing large numbers of people. To prevent this, we must pray,” he continued.
Deaths of children
Additionally, Rev. Owusu-Bempah foretold of an illness that, if preventive prayers are not offered, might kill a large number of children in Ghana this year.
Nigel Gaisie:
Nigel Gaisie, the founder and pastor of Prophetic Hill Chapel, also made a number of predictions that were supposed to come true in 2025 but haven’t.
Here are a few of them:
Unfavourable weather in Europe
Gaisie predicted catastrophic climate conditions in Europe and major weather disruptions.
A West African nation’s vice president will die
Gaisie foresaw the demise of a West African nation’s vice president.
Two traditional chiefs were attacked, and one was beheaded.
He threatened to attack two traditional leaders severely, possibly by beheading them or destooling them.
An important death involving a well-known female Central Region figure
Gaisie projected a state funeral and foresaw a major loss involving a well-known woman from Ghana’s Central Region, drawing comparisons to the untimely demise of former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.
For an American media star, prayers are needed. Winfrey, Oprah
He said that American media tycoon Oprah Winfrey might have health issues and asked for prayers for her.
Pastor Agyemang Elvis:
There will be a pandemic bigger than the COVID-19 epidemic, according to Pastor Agyemang Elvis, the founder and pastor of Grace Mountain Chapel International and host of Alpha House, the nocturnal prayer session.
“Although I am not a prophet, I sensed that a horrible event was about to occur. The world is about to experience another major pandemic. This is going to be more serious than we anticipated. It will be related to the skin in some way. Because the disease is easily spread by body contact, no one should come into contact with an affected person. But those who seek the Lord’s face and find joy in His teachings will be preserved. Pastor Elvis Agyemang said, “I talked about how they were making a disease in a lab a few years ago, but no one listened to me until the coronavirus entered the system.
